I love this Sugar Nellie Image called Carefree, she is so carefree and so not worried about life. Just wish I could hang out like this and not think of doing chores, especially the laundry.
I used my pencils to color her in. I like to use pencils for more detailed images. I did the ribbon technique here too. It may become my signature. The patterned paper is from paper studio, i have a bunch of miscellaneous paper, it just so happened to match!
This is my gorgeous daughter holding this card!
Have a great day.
I bought alot of Basic Grey paper on clearance at Michaels and this paper just called out to me! I love love it. It Anarchic Basic Grey, I think it looks like fish gills. Used my copics of course, its time to get new colors! hehe..
The stamp is from Sugar Nellies, Arent those boys cute?? I love this paper pack, I think I paid just 6.00 each, for 12×12! Incredible, I love sales.

Oh I love my sugar nellies, I wish i had an unlimited budget so I can buy them all!
I made this card with my copics! I am really loving them these days. I used E09 and e37 on her hair, her jeans I used b32 and B2, the shirt was colored in with a bic marker, The dog was also colored in with the same hair color, the chair she is sitting – i used C3 and C5.
That patterned paper is from K&CO. Its double sided and so yummy!
The stamp set is called sitting with bear, and I used Martha Stewart ribbon, It is such pretty ribbon i love 7/8th sized, but this ribbon is hard to cut! Just to warn you it shreds easily. When I find a new pink that thick I will replace it.
I cut out the shapes with my cricut, plantin cartridge, flowers are by Petaloo. They are really nice! Better than punching them out. You must try these.
I am so happy summer is coming, Pink and Greens! Yippiee
have a great day
This one is made with my Sugar Nellie Stamp, I used my cuttlebug for the background, a gold leaf pen, My Martha Stewart Punch, PTI ribbon, The black oval was cut out with my cricut and my Prisma Pencils for the girl.
This card can you believe I used Walmart Christmas Stamps! DCWV Paper and my martha stewart punch.
Details: I am in love with Sugar Nellie stamps. I bought just four of them but I may have to ask for more soon for Stocking Stuffers. This is one of my favorite images, the girl is feeding her kitty some milk, just so sweet!
I am trying to go simpler on my cards, less is more they say.
Cardstock: I used Stampin’ Up Night of Navy this time, with some Zen Garden Paper I picked up at Michaels months ago. Along with Bazzill pink for the flowers.
Stamps: Kitty by Sugar Nellie, the sentiment is from The Angel Company
Accessories: Prisma pencils, brads, Flower punch, baby oil and Cozulle.
Ok I tried another sugar nellie tonight with my new Leaf Branch Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. I am trying to be different. LOL So this time I used a peachy colored base, with matching prima flowers.
Isnt she a pretty girl, the stamp? I decided she had to be a blonde, bright blonde, since I am a brunette she had to be opposite me. I again used my Koh I noor pencils and just kept it simple. No sentiment or ribbon this time. I did use my black stickles on the center of the brad on the flower. It gives it a little bling so the card isnt too plain. Not all cards need a sentiment on the front, right?
Cardstock: Mix of Bazzill and Stampin up
Stamps: Sugar Nellie – Sitting with Bear
Accessories: Koor I Noor, Cuttlebug, Cuttlebug embossing folders, Prima flowers, Black and Cotton Candy Stickles, Pebbles Chalk and Q tips.
First I stamped my imaged, colored her in with my pencils, then use a nesties die to cut her out in a nice shape.
Next I made my cuttlebug sandwhich (YUMMY) She is sitting inside the embossing folder, Make sure you put the image up so the embossed part is raised and not sunken.
There she is after being smooshed! 🙂 She looks great!
Gather your supplies. Add chalk, I use a Q tip and have a eraser near by for mistakes. You can use a chalk spray after wards to keep the chalk in its place.
Finished Card – I added Cotton Candy Stickles on the outside of the nesties circle for a little pizazz.
Details: This is the first time I tried this technique. I dont know what it is called but I saw it out there on somes blog.
I stamped Pen Pal onto white cardstock colored her in with my yummy KOR I NOOR pencils and then i ran her through the cuttlebug with on of my embossing folders. I used some chalk to outline the swirls in the embossing. I hope it looks ok? I am not sure if I absolutely love it or not.
