Victoria Case Blog Challenge #5

This is the sketch we followed this week:

I didnt follow the sketch exactly, I changed it up a bit.

It took me 5 attempts at doing this, I am very tired tonight, Both kids are home and I couldnt get my mojo working. But It finally clicked into gear! Woohoo..
I love this new image of Victoria Case’s Stork I used my copics to color in the stork, stickles on the baby blanket and Safari Kids Stack Pack by DCWV. I have a bunch of cute buttons in my stash, and I just happen to find that tug board. My sentiment is a stamp i found at Hobby Lobby. That circle where the sentiment lays is from SCAL its actually a Spellbinders file called Dahlia, I googled it and I found the SVG. 🙂 If you want a copy let me know.

Have a great night.

Hang Tough!

I made this one for my son, he is 6 and in Kindergarten. He took this picture for his school photos (I have to mail my MIL one) He looks so sad or grown up, I cant decide.

I used SCAL with a free font from Fontspace called ABCcar. I used my Archaic Paper and all its accessories for the other fun stuff. This was an easy page to make thanks to Basic Grey, I have found my new favorite paper.

Thanks for looking 🙂

Trying on Wedding Dresses Scrapbook Layout

I am in the process of scrapbooking my life. This layout is the day I went to the bridal store and tried on dresses, this happened to be the dress i chose (this was 10 years ago – bling was in lol) I still need to decide on what kind of journalling I will do. I may do a die cut on chipboard, havent decided yet. I am brave to show my picture on this blog!! This was me 10 years ago, before kids, marriage and life got in the way.

I used SCAL on the cricut for most of it, markers for title and sub title, a stampin up die cut (yes I copied it SHH dont tell!).

What kind of journalling do you think I should use? I want it on the right side of that empty space.

Thank you Cards

Details: I got this idea from Kristen Werner on Two Peas in bucket. She used staples in her ribbon, which i would have never thought of doing on my own.

This was a nice simple basic card. I may make a bunch more to have on hand. 🙂

Scrapbook Canvas

Details: I found these great canvas’s at Michaels. They were half off so I bought a few. I used Tulip paints to color it in, puffy for the words. Thats my son’s Kindergarten picture. He has a goofy smile on – doesnt he? 🙂

I made it for hubby as a late Hanukkah present. I am making another one of my daugther.

Juliana at Mc Donalds in Russia

Details: This photo was taken in Moscow Russia, She was just 18 months Old. Its her first Hamburger and Fries!

It is part one of two, i am working on the next page. All my words were made with SCAL, as well as the scallops and the Mc Donalds sign. The only chipboard I used was the Word First and the hearts, its from K&Co.

I weaved the ribbon the left side and made a journal card in a pocket. I used the Angel Company stamp for the journal square.

The paper is from Paper Studio – its called So So Sweet.
