Thank You Jackie!!! The rules are to display this award on your beautiful blog with a link to mine and the 7 blogs you are passing the award to. So I am passing the award to the following blogs:
I am so glad to have my sewing machine back in working condition. I finally can do some sewing. One of my blog buddies Stephanie was kind of enough to send me some penny black images, as I dont own any, Thank you so much!!! I dont know the name of this stamp set. I love them and they are on my wish list.
I stitched on this card using the PTI cardstock because of its weight. Its very heavy and handles stitches well. I used black straight stitch and a yellow scallop stitch. I love the way embrodiery thread looks on cards. It has a nice shine to it.
As promised here is my new room. The new color is a greenish blue, looks very blue on camera. Not sure why. I didnt make the curtains yet, I just draped the fabric on my rod (the machine is in for service) I still need a few things, an area rug, some photos, pillows another chair. But I got the painting done! Woohoo
This is what it look like before. It was my sons room. I kicked him out hehehe. Naah hes in a new room now.
And this is what it looks like now..
This Ugly book case is going to be replaced with More adjustable shelves and I would like a real sewing table one day 🙂
The Closet Area
My PaperCraft Area, I want a new table one day here too.
I am glad the painting is done. It needed 3 coats to cover that blue! I will post more pics when it looks more put together.
I won this stamp at a contest over at SNR Universe and I finally got around to using it. I love love this stamp! I used Gina K’s Embossing tutorials and I am in Love with this technique!!!
I used Stampin Up Purple Cardstock, Momento Ink and a cosmetic sponge for the shading, my yummy Prisma Pencils with OMS and of course my scalloped nestie dies. Now I want more nesties! hehe….
Have a good day!
I been watching but felt not good enough to participate, I thought since I had the night free I would give this one a try.
The challenge was to use our nestibilites die to make a card. I never did this before, I couldnt ever figure it out! LOL.
Thanks to Gina over at Stamptv I finally understand!! If you havent been there, you must go!
Here is my card.
since i am in the process of redoing my room, Yes I am still painting. I only have 2 days to do it during the week. And most of that time I am doing other stuff.
But this is a must do on my list!
Just have to decide what paper to choose.
